Catching/Hitting Coach
John Hoskyn is from the small town of Stuttgart, Arkansas. He lives with his mother, father, brother, and sister. From a young age John has loved the game of baseball, he started playing when he was four years old. Baseball has always been his favorite thing to do. He started playing summer ball at the age of ten and his love for the game grew even more. John played for the Maumelle Bulldogs, Arkansas Prospects, and the Arkansas Sticks. In high school he played football and baseball while earning All-State awards in each. Through summer ball and successful high school baseball seasons, he earned a spot on the Arkansas State baseball team. In his collegiate career, John has dealt with a handful of injuries yet still has shown success at the plate. “Proformance has gotten me ready every summer to go back to college. Coming to Proformance has made me a better man and ballplayer. Dustin and the staff at Proformance have really changed the way I play the game for the better. I continue to get stronger, faster, and improve on things that I struggle with as a player. Being on staff at Proformance makes me super excited. I have put my trust into Proformance and I have come out a better player. My goal is for players to have the same experience as I did at Proformance. I can’t thank the Proformance staff enough for how much they have done for me over the past few years. I want everybody to come in and improve their game at the highest level”.
