Dylan, a West Tennessee native, grew up in Trenton, TN and graduated high school in the year of 2013. In high school he played multiple sports that included baseball, basketball, football, and cross country. Throughout his years at Peabody High School in Tennessee, he compiled 3 straight years of all conference awards with his senior year being most rewarding as he earned All State 1st Team Honors, runner-up Pitcher of the Year in the entire state of TN, and an All Star Game selection where he was awarded Pitcher of the Game. Along with the honors, he posted a career record of (25-9) with 222 innings pitched and 303 K’s.
His college career began in the fall of 2013 where he attended Three Rivers College, a junior college in Poplar Bluff, MO. Throughout his 2 years at Three Rivers he compiled a (10-5) record through 136.2 innings pitched and a combined ERA of 2.69. While showing the ability to win and pitch deep into games, Dylan was named to the MCCAC All Conference First Team in his second year as a Raider. He also made his way into the records books at Three Rivers by posting the impressive stat of only forcing 39 walks throughout 136.2 innings of work.
These accomplishments earned him a scholarship to play at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock for the next two years. His two year stint with the Trojans began in the fall of 2015 with the newly acquired coaching staff and Coach Chris Curry. Throughout the next two years as a Trojan he appeared in 57 games with 79.3 innings pitched. He was considered an all around pitcher his junior year and his senior year he became the closer for Little Rock’s Team.
While also at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, Dylan earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Health and Exercise Science. This will allow him to pursue a graduate school of his choosing to obtain a Doctorate of Physical Therapy Degree. With the aspirations of soon becoming a Physical Therapist.
