Austin Allen

Hitting Coach

Austin Allen brings a wealth of experience and expertise to Proformance, with a decorated playing career and a strong coaching resume. A 2013 graduate of North Pulaski High School, Austin left his mark on Arkansas baseball:

• 2013 All-American Nominee

• MaxPreps Small School All-American

• MaxPreps Arkansas Baseball Player of the Year (2013):

 

Led the state with a remarkable .667 batting average, ranked 3rd in home runs (8), and tied for 4th in triples (6).

• 2x All-State Selection

• 3x All-Conference Selection

 

Austin's collegiate journey took him through several programs where he consistently excelled:

• Played at Southwest Tennessee Community 

College

(2013) and Arkansas State University (2014).

• Made his mark at Arkansas Baptist College (2015-

2017):

• Tied for 3rd in single-season stolen bases (26).

• Named 2nd Team NJCAA Region 2 in 2015.

• Continued his career at Central Baptist College (2017-

2019):

• Earned 2nd Team NAIA honors.

 

Graduated with a Bachelor's in Psychology of Science, with a minor in Social Services.

After college, Austin shifted his focus to coaching and athlete development:

 

Co-Owner of Applied Velocity, where he spent three years refining player performance.

• Head Coach at Pangburn High School (2020): Led the team to an impressive 22-11 record.

 

Assistant Coach at Joe T. Robinson High School for three years, contributing to a State Runner-Up finish.

 

Specializations

Austin is passionate about helping players unlock their potential, with expertise in:

• Hitting: Focused on a line-drive approach, creating hard-hit balls, and optimizing individual swings.

• Defense: Coaching infielders, outfielders, and catchers to excel in their positions.

 

Austin's combination of playing accolades, coaching achievements, and dedication to player development makes him an incredible asset to Proformance.
