John Bolton

Fielding and Throwing Coach

John Bolton is a Memphis, TN native who most recently played short stop for the Arkansas Razorbacks in 2023.

Before playing in Fayetteville, John attended high school at Memphis University School, where he was named a 2018 Mr.

Baseball Finalist in the state of Tennessee. He started his collegiate baseball career at Hinds Community College in Raymond, MS, where he played his freshman and "Covid sophomore" year, and eventually finished his undergrad playing at Austin Peay State University. John used his extra year of eligibility, due to Covid, to graduate transfer to the University of Arkansas. During his tenure as a Razorback, John and his team won the 2023 SEC regular season championship, and he led the SEC in double plays turned.

John will teach glove work to young players in the infield, sharing the mentality, habits, and skills that good infielders possess.
